July 2022. Prof. Maksym Yali was awarded a Newton Universal Legendary Award for his “courageous online reporting to various international media outlets about the invasion of Ukraine”. The award ceremony was held in Boston. Maksym participated virtually from Kyiv to deliver an acceptance speech.
